Welcome to Necwerk Productions LLC. A company that provides a variety of creative incentives and consulting services for individuals of the entertainment / play writing industry. Here, we create, write, and produce plays in the Detroit Area and abroad. Established in 2006, our company has written four full stage play productions three with sold out shows. Along with writing, the creative minds within this company also consult with other aspiring writers. Necwerk Productions has consulted with other writers on their productions. Tammy Parker of Simply Me productions of Atlanta wrote the hit Gospel Play "If Only You Knew" which debuted in Detroit in May 2008 with three sold out shows, and again in Atlanta Georgia in November 2008. Also we've consulted with other talented writers, Vicky Kirby with "Trouble in my way" which debuted in September 2008, and "Auntie Ronnie Goes To School", written by Kathryn Denise which opened in May, 2009.

Saving Mama was a great success! We packed the Wayne State theater out on October 3, 2009 thanks to SADA'S house and You! We will be touring the play next year in October 2010 in Atlanta so we really need your prayers, donations and sponsorship. WHAT'S NEXT!!!!

Detroit, the wait is finally over! Are you ready for the new 'Dancational' play 'Step ~n~ The Name of love? Written by Detroit's own Lanette M. White, a comedy that also accentuates the ballroom/ Hustle movement that's sweeping the nation. Finally a theater production that the ball roomer, stepper, and hustler can relate to and enjoy.

The play evolves around two rival club owners located across the street from one another, one old school and one new school, both are battling for a piece of vacant property that is up for sale. Mean while, there is some sneaky, cheating, and sabatage that takes place, which leads both club owners to agree to a 'step off' competition, where the winner secures the property up for sale.

The motivation behind 'Step ~N~ The Name Of Love' is to inspire others to build teamwork, and unity, by working together and not against one another. This play is 'mad' funny and is bound to make you laugh, uplift your spirits, as well as entertain you! Also the audience will gain an opportunity to participate so you don't want to miss this one! This is a grown and sexy affair, so dress up if you like, though it's not mandatory, but strongly encouraged!

This production opened March 6, 2010 at the Wayne State University Community Arts Theater located at 450 Reuther Mall, Detroit Mi. 48202 on the WSU campus.The response from this production was over whelming and request for this production to have it performed again are still coming in! we will be looking to perform this show again in the fall of 2010, location still pending so be sure to check back for the updates and photos from the show. Auditions!! Shawn P. Entertainment will be hosting auditions March 27, 2010 from 4pm-7pm at the Fairhill M.B.C. 11715 Livernois between Tuxedo and Webb in Detroit. We are looking for actors/ actresses, singers, rappers and dancers. If that's you or someone you know please show up promtly with picture and bio.

The long anticiapted sequel to Tammy Parker's hit gospel play "If Only You Knew", "IF only He Knew", will be opening April 24-25, 2010 at the Wayne State Community Arts Theater At 7pm. This Summer Shawn P. Entertainment presents A Summer Jam Session Concert and Showcase featuring local recording artist. Church Folks?!??

Flyer from the first play 2006 with six sold out shows. This play was performed at two local churches by request in 2007 and also in Flint Mi. at the Buckham Alley Theater. This play will be back in production with an all new cast in July of 2009. Dates and showtimes will be later posted.

The other Side Of The Story

This was the second production which ran for two weeks in November 2007 with a double cast and sold out performances. And a special performance for a Senior Group.

Saving Mama

The third production with three sold out performances. This play which touches issues of domestic violence debuted in October Of 2008 for National Domestic Violence Month.

This play was not just a consulting job but it was also casted and co-directed by Necwerk Productions and Produced by Shawn P. Entertainment. This play debuted in Detroit in May of 2008 with three sold out shows. It was later performed in Atlanta, Georgia in November of 2008.
